David Bennett - Christchurch
David’s comprehensive coach specific training combined with his corporate experience allows him to provide effective developmental coaching. He supports people to find their current “growing edge” and become better able to handle complexity, ambiguity and change. David is a full time professional coach and has been coaching since 2010 after transitioning from a successful corporate career, including 12 years overseas in Europe and Brazil. He is based in Christchurch and has clients throughout New Zealand and overseas.
David believes an effective coach balances challenge and support to enable people to learn to think, engage and act differently. He believes most people know what they need to do differently but struggle to adopt new behaviours by themselves. His aim is to facilitate improvement in an individual’s effectiveness that, when linked to organisation goals, makes a positive impact on their organisation’s performance. David focuses on gaining clarity about coaching objectives and desired outcomes. He enjoys working with people who are looking for: 1) Behaviour change from the inside out: focusing on beliefs, mindset and actions; 2) Developing self awareness, confidence and resilience; 3) Learning to use evidence-based tools, frameworks and models to help manage themselves and their teams more effectively.
