Increased trust
More listening
More courageous conversations
Case study
CONTEXT:
The lockdowns employed to manage the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the performing arts industry in 2020.
Auckland Theatre Company (ATC) executives were keen to enhance their organisational culture and look after their people during this time of great change by wrapping a package of professional support and expertise around them.
INTERVENTION:
To support these aims, they chose to partner with the team at Spring Leadership and began by implementing Spring’s Democratised Coaching Programme.
“They really, really care about how successful the organisation can be and how successful the people within the organisation can feel”, explained ATC Executive Director, Anna Cameron.
“What I enjoyed the most about working with Spring is actually how they work and the significant investment that they put into the programme of their own time, their skills, their expertise.”
RESULTS:
In addition to the boosts in confidence and wellbeing reported by individual employees, people also noticed cultural shifts within the organisation as a result of the intervention, including increased openness, improved communication, and more courageous conversations taking place.
